Leizhou, renowned as "China's Stone Capital," successfully launched the 16th International Stone Exhibition on September 9, 2024, at the Leizhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. The three-day event, themed "Leizhou Stone, Winning Together for the Future," attracted numerous visitors, exhibitors, and industry professionals from both home and abroad.
The exhibition showcased a comprehensive range of stone products, machinery, and designs, divided into seven distinct zones: Stone Decoration, Stone Machinery, Art and Design, Leizhou Jade Carving, Media, Large Sculptures, and Raw Materials. Over 100 renowned domestic and international stone enterprises participated, displaying their latest innovations and high-quality products.
The opening ceremony was followed by the inaugural "Stone Capital Award" ceremony, celebrating the achievements of leading figures in the stone industry. In addition, several forums and workshops were held, including the Shandong Provincial Innovation-Driven Development Conference and the Forum on Green and Circular Development of the Stone Industry. These events provided a platform for industry experts to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities facing the stone sector.
Furthermore, the exhibition was complemented by a series of cultural and recreational activities, such as the Leizhou National Fitness Hiking Festival and Half Marathon, water screen movie performances, cultural performances, sightseeing tours, food experiences, and displays of intangible cultural heritage and specialty products. These activities aimed to fully showcase Leizhou's unique cityscape, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant tourism resources.
